Today marked a bittersweet moment as we said goodbye to our Erasmus+ students, Hülya Durak and Er Yusuf Islam, who have completed their exchange semester at the Faculty of Education, University of Białystok.
Together with Anna Dziejma, our Faculty Erasmus+ Coordinator for students, we had the pleasure of meeting with them to express our gratitude for the time we spent together, their dedication, and their choice of our Faculty as the destination for their Erasmus+ programme.
As Vice-Dean for Research and Internationalisation, I had the privilege of teaching them in a demanding course, and I can say with genuine pleasure that they were always well-prepared, open to discussion, and - what is especially valuable - unfailingly cheerful and positive. Their engagement and enthusiasm enriched our academic community and classroom discussions.
This meeting was also an opportunity to present them with commemorative certificates marking the completion of their semester in Białystok.
We wish Hülya and Yusuf all the best in their future academic and professional endeavours. See you... somewhere on the academic paths of the world!
