We are delighted that you are considering a visit to our Faculty. This guide provides you with the information you need to help plan your staff mobility with us.

Required documents

Before your visit, please prepare and send the following documents to our Erasmus+ Coordinator for Staff Mobility via email:

  • a short bio (research and teaching profile)
  • Mobility Agreement signed by your institution
  • preferred dates and purpose of your visit
  • your language preferences (most of our staff speak English, Polish, or both)

Planning your visit

We recommend contacting us at least two months in advance to arrange your stay. Visits are usually scheduled during the academic semesters:

  • Winter semester: October – February
  • Summer semester: February – June

Getting to Białystok

Białystok is located in northeastern Poland, around 1 hour and 50 minutes from Warsaw. The easiest ways to reach us are:

  • by plane and train – from Warsaw Chopin Airport (via airport bus or train), then direct train from Warszawa Zachodnia or Warszawa Centralna or Warszawa Wschodnia stations
  • by bus or car – directions and assistance available upon request

Accommodation

While we do not offer on-campus housing, we can support you in finding suitable accommodation near the university (short-term rental apartments or hotels). Let us know your preferences, and we will be happy to help.
